Our latest arrival is a 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8, one of only 402 cars manufactured. Delivered in December 1971 to the famous H.W Motors Limited, Walton on Thames, Surrey. Finished in Celeste blue with dark blue leather interior.

The DBS V8 was the last Aston Martin produced at The Newport Pagnell factory, under Sir David Brown’s ownership.

Having been in ‘dry’ storage since 1992, it’s long overdue some TLC and is certainly in the right place.

Arrival

Stage 1. Strip down and assessment

Strip down continues with engine and gearbox removed..

Now the vehicle is mounted on it’s trolley it will be sent for media blasting to ensure the removal of rust.

Car returns from media blasting…

We paint strip the vehicle body to bare metal using sanding/ stripping discs and appropriate hand tools to preserve integrity of alloy body.

Fabrication of steel repair panels - Grant with looks of deep concentration.

Interior trim decisions are being made, using Connolly samples.

Steel repairs to chassis and Aluminium repairs to the body continue

Boot floor repairs in place.

Pre-fit and preparation for paintwork.

Paintwork - finished in Cumberland Grey.
